CONSULTATION

Members of the Steering Committee are in continuous contact with a range of individuals in the offices of the European commission. Through these contacts EUCEN is frequently invited to comment on and to evaluate proposal of various kinds. In September 2001 we co-ordinated a response on the Staff Working Paper on lifelong learning which was developed by the Commission into a Memorandum on Lifelong Learning; in 2003 we contributed to the Trends Report on progress in the Bologna process; and in Bergen in 2005 we will be organising our conference around the production of recommendations for the Bologna group on LLL.
