In Task Forces groups of members have tackled important issues and challenges
for ULLL: quality, innovation, management training, new needs, marketing,
technical advances in multimedia, universities' role in lifelong learning,
the assessment of work-based learning. It is open to any member to suggest
a new group and the Network is an ideal place to find others with a similar
interest or need. EUCEN supports such groups through providing opportunities
to meet, to attract participants and to develop and disseminate ideas.
The groups work on particular themes to develop tools and resources for
the promotion of best practice and often works towards a project proposal
for funding. For example, the EUCEN Task Force on Quality worked on the
theme of Quality in ULLL and produced a project proposal which is now
the EQUIPE project network
funded by Grundtvig 4.
